Mrs. Cecilia
Parker Director
My name is Cecilia Sanabria, and I am the director at Tender Loving Care on Parker Ave. I have had the pleasure of working for TLC for a little over 15 years. I have worked at all 3 centers before calling the Parker location my home base. It has been a true joy being able to work with all the kiddos over the years.
I grew up in San Jose, Ca before moving to Tracy in 2002 where I resided up until a year ago when my husband and I moved to Stockton after buying our first home. My husband and I have been married for 7 years now and have 1 fur baby. We both love to travel all over California, especially Disneyland. We are what many call “Disney Adults”.
I started working for TLC in 2009 as a PreK teacher. Over the years I worked at both the Monticello and Traina location until finally coming over to the Parker location in 2015. It is special being able to see all the kiddos learn and grow over the years and making sure that their time with us is safe and welcoming.
Mrs. Heather
Monticello Director
Hello TLC families! My name is Ms. Heather, and it is a privilege to be the Director at Monticello TLC. I was born and raised in Fremont, my husband and I moved to Tracy in 2011. I have worked in childcare since I was old enough to babysit. I began studying Early Childhood Education at Chabot College, where I earned an AA degree. While continuing my education, I was a nanny and a Pre-kindergarten teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2008. I continued to work as a Pre-K teacher until I became a stay-at-home mom to my two daughters.
I began working for TLC in 2019 and have been the Monticello Director since 2021.Both of my daughters attended Preschool at TLC and are currently in our School-age program. When I am not working, you will find me on the soccer field with my oldest daughter or at gymnastics with my youngest.
Working with children is my passion, there is nothing better than making a difference in a child’s life. It is my goal to create an environment that is safe, fun and inviting for all of our children and their families.
Ms. Charla
Traina Director
Hello! My name is Charla, and I’m the director of Traina Tender Loving Care (TLC). I’ve had the pleasure of working at TLC for over 20 years, and I truly couldn’t love my job more! I began my journey as a preschool teacher assistant in 2004, teaching PreK, and I’ve been in the director’s role for the past 13 years. I hold an AA in Early Childhood Education, along with several professional certificates. I exceed the qualifications required to be a fully qualified teacher and director, and I’ve had the joy of teaching children from newborns through the age of 12.
I grew up right here in Tracy, where I met the love of my life over 25 years ago. We have three wonderful sons and a daughter-in-law, who we are incredibly proud of, aged 25, 21, and 15. Whether we’re enjoying a quiet day at home or having fun around town, my free time is spent with my family. We love camping, traveling to new and exciting places. Over the years, we’ve attended countless games our boys have played through every sport, and now our youngest plays football for Tracy High School.
For me, teaching and nurturing the next generation is the most noble and rewarding career. I’m passionate about what I do and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the children and families I serve.
